Occasionally I may have puppies or young adults available for adoption. All will be Canadian Kennel Club registered and come with a comprehensive lifetime health guarantee, are microchipped for identification, and will be up-to-date on vaccinations and wormings. All of these pups come with lifetime breeder support and wecome home contract.
All puppies sold as pets will be on non-breeding spay/neuter contracts. I do not sell to pet shops, or brokers. If a show prospect comes available it will only be to a very special home.
Each litter I produce will be with the well being of the breed in mind, with the goals of maintaining and improving upon the standards of confirmation, health, and temperment of these great little dogs. Our dogs live in our home, and the puppies are raised underfoot.
All parents will be up-to-date on vaccinations and will be tested for eye, heart, and patella problems.

FOSTER OPPORTUNITIES
I am currently looking for foster homes for two young adult chihuahuas.
For these placements I am specifically looking for:
Adult couple, or single woman, older children okay, no younger children.
Must live in the Kelowna area, own your own home, and have a fenced yard. Quiet neighbourhoods perferred.
Must have small dog experience. No other pets perferred, however other toy breeds may be acceptable.

From time to time I will be looking for local Kelowna families to foster adult chihuahuas. As I keep show prospects from my litters, I will need to find special homes for adults that are no longer being actively shown but are still part of my breeding program. I have chosen this option, as I do not wish to get to the point where I need to build kennel facilities. It is important to me that these little dogs are housepets.
If you are a foster family to one of my dogs, they are your pet and you will be their loving forever home. I will maintain CKC registered ownership rights, and breeding rights. We will share some expenses.
While they are still in my breeding program, females will return to me to be bred, and to whelp and raise her puppies. Most often this will be only 1 or 2 litters over 1 or 2 years. Afterward, she will be spayed, and all ownership will be transferred to you. Males will be maintained in my program until they are too old for stud.
There will be no purchase price for the dog, only a small adoption fee to cover the cost of spay/neuter before they are transferred to you.
I am looking for a local home only (City of Kelowna). Must be well established with no plans of moving. Older retired single woman or couple perferred, with small dog experience and no other pets. Well fenced yard a must, and quiet neighbourhood or apartment perferred. Foster agreement/contract will be used.
All of my dogs are housetrained, (including intact males) crate trained, and leash trained and are up to date on vaccinations, wormings and dental care. They are also health tested for heart, eye and patella problems.
